Duck Tales

Akron got the bats going early. With runners on the corners and two outs in the fourth, Curley lifted a shallow fly ball to center that hit off the glove of the diving Curve centerfielder for an RBI single to put Akorn on top 1-0. Maick Collado followed with a single between third and short to increase the lead to 2-0. After Altoona got a run back in the bottom of the fourth, the RubberDucks answered in the fifth. Jaison Chourio walked and swiped second base before scoring on an Aaron Walton RBI single to make it 3-1 Akron.
