Cleveland Cavaliers Advance to Eastern Conference Semifinals Official 2026 Round 2 Fan Guide

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers, number four seed in the Eastern Conference, will face the number one seed Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Round 2 series is set to begin on Tuesday, May 5 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan and will be televised on Peacock/NBC Sports Network. The Cavaliers will bring the series home to Rocket Arena for Game 3 on Saturday, May 9. Tickets to all Cavs home games for Round 2 will go on sale beginning tomorrow, May 4 at Cavs.com/Playoffs.

2026 CAVALIERS NBA PLAYOFF ROUND 2 SCHEDULE

In the best of seven series (2-2-1-1-1 format), there are three possible Cavs home games. 

The full Cavs Round 2 schedule is listed below. 

All NBA Playoff games have been selected for exclusive national broadcast and will be broadcast on iHeartMedia stations 100.7 FM WMMS and across the 28-station Medical Mutual Cavaliers AudioVerse, hosted by play-by-play announcer Tim Alcorn and analyst Jim Chones. Serena Winters will join the crew as a sideline reporter for the playoffs. In addition, games will air on WTAM 1100 AM and 106.9 FM when there are no Cleveland Guardians scheduling conflicts. Pregame and halftime shows will be hosted by Mike Snyder, with Brad Sellers joining for postgame coverage. 

LOCK IN YOUR SEAT FOR THE CAVS PLAYOFFS

Fans with Playoff Priority – members of Cavs United presented by KeyBank and fans with a FREE Cavs Rewards account – will receive a first-come, first-served opportunity to purchase available single-game tickets for all Cavs 2026 Playoff home games. Tickets for the Cavs 2026 Eastern Conference Semifinals home games at Rocket Arena go on sale tomorrow, May 4 at Cavs.com/Playoffs with a six (6) ticket limit per transaction.

Due to the nature of the playoffs, ticket onsale information will be determined as each round unfolds, and if any scheduled home game is not played, ticketholders will be refunded for their purchase. Tickets will be distributed through SeatGeek, the Cavs Official Ticketing Partner.

CAVS PLAYOFF PRIORITY ACCESS

Cavs United members and fans with a FREE Cavs Rewards account have Playoff Priority access to purchase single-game tickets for the Cavs 2026 Playoff home games. 

Fans can still secure Playoff Priority access for Cavs Playoff home games in one of two ways:

• OPTION 1: The best way to access tickets for Cavs 2026 NBA Playoff home games is to purchase a Cavs United membership presented by KeyBank for the 2026-27 NBA season. Cavs United members receive first access to playoff tickets before they go on sale to the public. For information on becoming a member of Cavs United presented by KeyBank visit Cavs.com/Enroll.  

• OPTION 2: Fans can also secure priority access to purchase tickets for Cavs 2026 NBA Playoff home games by creating a FREE Cavs Rewards account at Cavs.com/Rewards. After signing up, fans will have the option to link a credit or debit card to their account, which automatically enrolls them for Playoff Priority.

During the Eastern Conference Semifinals, fans will continue to experience the all-new fourth quarter transformed into the ultimate home court advantage. Every fan attending a Cavs home game will receive a black "LETEMKNOW" rally towel to wave throughout the quarter, along with new fan elements, dynamic video displays and crunch-time entertainment.

CAVS REWARDS SWEEPSTAKES

Fans can enter for a chance to win Cavs Playoff tickets by creating a FREE Cavs Rewards account at Cavs.com/Rewards. To be eligible to win two (2) tickets to future home playoff games at Rocket Arena, fans must link an existing debit or credit card to their account. Current account holders with a linked card will be automatically entered to win. This promotion will be active for the first two home games of each playoff round. A total of three winners will be selected per game, resulting in six winners per round.

DEFEND THE LAND SWEEPSTAKES PRESENTED BY ADIDAS 

Fans can enter the Defend the Land Sweepstakes presented by adidas once per day for a chance to win free playoff tickets and adidas footwear. WINE & GOLD WATCH PARTIES

The Cavs will host official bar watch parties presented by NUTRL for all away games of Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs. Locations for Games 1 and 2 will be announced soon. All official Cavs bar watch parties begin one hour before tipoff.
