Cavaliers Sign Thomas Bryant

The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed center Thomas Bryant, Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts.

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed center Thomas Bryant, Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts.

Bryant (6-10, 255) appeared in 66 games for the Miami Heat (10 games) and the Indiana Pacers (56 games) during the 2024-25 season, averaging 6.5 points on .508 shooting from the field and 3.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per contest. He also made a career-high 48 three-pointers last season. Additionally, Bryant appeared in a career-high 20 postseason games last season for Indiana in route to their appearance in the 2025 NBA Finals. He scored a playoff career-high 11 points (3-4 3FG) in the Game 6 series win against New York in the Eastern Conference Finals, helping contribute to the Pacers first NBA Finals appearance since 2000.

Over eight NBA seasons, Bryant has appeared in 333 regular season games (146 starts) with the L.A. Lakers, Washington, Denver, Miami, and Indiana and holds career averages of 8.9 points and 5.1 rebounds while shooting .582 from the field in 17.7 minutes. Bryant was also a member of the Nuggets during their NBA Championship season in 2023. He was originally selected by the Utah Jazz in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2017 NBA Draft, after two seasons at Indiana University (2015-2017). 

 Bryant will wear jersey #3 for the Cavaliers and Cleveland’s roster currently sits at 14 players with two Two-Way players.
