Cavaliers Re-Sign Thomas Bryant

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers have re-signed center Thomas Bryant, Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts.
Bryant (6-10, 255) appeared in 60 games (one start) for the Cavaliers this past season, averaging 6.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per contest. He also shot .506 from the field, .359 from three-point range and .803 from the foul line. Bryant scored in double figures on 17 occasions, and his 47 three-pointers made last season were one shy of his career high (48 3FG in 2024-25). In his lone start, Bryant recorded a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds in 26 minutes versus Indiana on April 5.
Over nine NBA seasons, Bryant has appeared in 393 regular season games (147 starts) with the L.A. Lakers, Washington, Denver, Miami, Indiana and Cleveland and holds career averages of 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting .573 from the field in 16.9 minutes per game. A 2023 NBA Champion with the Nuggets, Bryant has also played in 32 career playoff games, including nine during Cleveland’s 2026 Eastern Conference Finals run. He was originally selected by the Utah Jazz in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2017 NBA Draft following two seasons at Indiana University (2015-2017).
