Cavs Trade Lonzo Ball
The Cleveland Cavaliers have traded guard Lonzo Ball to the Utah Jazz, Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman announced today.

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers have traded guard Lonzo Ball to the Utah Jazz, Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman announced today. As part of the deal, the Cavaliers have also sent draft considerations to the Jazz.
“Lonzo Ball was the consummate professional during his time with the Cavaliers, and we’re grateful for his hard work and team-first mentality,” said Altman. “We wish him nothing but the best moving forward.”
Ball (6-6, 205) appeared in 35 games (three starts) this past season for Cleveland, averaging 4.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.30 steals in 20.8 minutes. Over his seven-year NBA career, he has appeared in 322 games (256 starts) for the L.A. Lakers, New Orleans, Chicago and Cleveland, owning career averages of 10.6 points, 5.6 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.50 steals in 30.1 minutes. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Lakers, Ball earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors in 2017-18 after a standout season at UCLA, where he led the NCAA in assists.
